Reschenthaler Applauds House Passage of Limit, Save, Grow Act
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) released the following statement after the House passed H.R. 2811, the Limit, Save, Grow Act:
“With today’s passage of the Limit, Save, Grow Act, our House Republican majority did what the American people put us in office to do: stop Democrats’ spending spree and get America back on track.
For the past two years, Washington Democrats used their one-party rule to pass massive spending bills, enact costly regulations, and add $6 trillion to the national deficit – all at the expense of everyday Americans. This reckless tax-and-spend agenda fueled inflation, devastated American families’ financial well-being, and jeopardized our nation’s economic prosperity.
While President Biden refuses to negotiate, House Republicans proposed – and passed – reasonable, responsible, and sensible solutions. Our plan works for the American people, their children, and their grandchildren.
I urge President Biden to follow House Republicans’ lead, come to the negotiating table, and support the same spending reforms he urged his colleagues to adopt throughout his political career. This time should be no different.”
